DUSK 03 Handmade Ceramic Cup & Saucer — Rose Brown & Cream, 220 ml

DUSK 03 is a greyed rose-brown with cream dragged across it in loose vertical streaks, thin enough in places to let the colour beneath come through. The inside is pale blue-grey. The saucer picks up the same cream, and its rim is notched rather than cut clean.

The cup is low and a little irregular, with a small loop handle. The saucer runs to 14.3 cm, leaving room beside the cup for a spoon or a biscuit. At 220 ml it takes a long espresso, a cortado, or a cup of tea.

How far the cream drags and where it thins changes from set to set. Yours will not match the photograph exactly. That variation is the point.
