CAELUM 04 is pale sky blue under a scatter of ochre brush marks, each one laid on by hand, so the spacing drifts and the strokes vary in weight across the body. A band of the same ochre runs round the rim.
The body is rounded and the handle is a broad flat strap, squared off and wide enough to hook a thumb over. At 350 ml it holds a full mug of coffee, or a long pot of tea.
The pattern is painted rather than poured, so the marks fall differently on every piece. Yours will not match the photographs. That variation is the point.
