DRIFT 02 Handmade Ceramic Mug — Clay Brown & Olive Gold, 200 ml

DRIFT 02 is clay brown under a pour of olive gold that covers the top half and then gives out, breaking into a scatter of droplets that carries on down the body. The rim keeps the gold; the foot keeps the brown.

The body flares gently from foot to rim, and the handle is a slim loop. At 200 ml it takes a cappuccino, a flat white, or a small pot of tea.

Where the gold gives out is decided in the firing, so the line falls differently on every piece. Yours will not match the photograph exactly. That variation is the point.
